Up to now, TESVOLT has focused on developing and manufacturing battery storage systems for commercial enterprises.
The energy storage systems we produce are based on lithium-ion technology, work with low and high voltages and can be connected to all energy sources: sun, wind, water, biogas and combined heat and power sources, whether on-grid or off-grid.
TESVOLT is now an “Aktiengesellschaft”
With the company’s transformation into an “Aktiengesellschaft” (AG) – a company form under German law comparable to a public limited company – we have positioned ourselves strongly to take on future challenges.
As part of the transformation, the existing board members will be appointed to the Management Board. As CEO, TESVOLT co-founder Daniel Hannemann will take up the role of Chair. Co-founder Simon Schandert will be responsible for the products and their technical development in his role as CTO.
Since May 2022, finance expert Philipp Koecke has assumed responsibility for his area in his role as CFO. Koecke has a great deal of industry experience in the area of renewable energy. He led the finance department at Solarworld AG for 15 years, until in 2017 he moved into senior management at a fast-growing technology firm.
Oliver Borrmann was appointed Chair of the Supervisory Board in the inaugural meeting, and Claudia Thonet Deputy Chair. Johannes Meran and Ralf Christian are also members.
A story of success
Their goal is to develop and manufacture battery systems that store electricity from renewable energy sources as efficiently as possible. Since trade and industry have the highest energy requirements in many countries, the start-up concentrated from the outset on high-capacity storage facilities.
Outstanding battery management
With success: TESVOLT’s award-winning battery management system ensures that commercial and industrial storage systems pay for themselves within just a few years.
But the success of TESVOLT comes not just from its superior technology, but also its agile company structure. In extremely dynamic markets, flexibility, speed and innovation are key.
Conventional hierarchical organisations are finding it increasingly difficult to meet market needs. At TESVOLT, self-organisation and team culture are the order of the day, allowing the company to serve the markets of tomorrow with confidence.
Even today, TESVOLT is producing its commercial storage solutions in series in Europe’s first Gigafactory for battery storage, delivering them all over the world.
